Probably a drunk driver hit two teenagers


QUINCY – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision in the 8500 block of T-Northwest Road Monday evening, according to a GCSO release.

Two Quincy youths were seriously injured when they were hit by an allegedly drunk driver. Two 13-year-old boys were walking along the side of the road when they were rear-ended by a 2006 Honda Accord. Rene Dominguez Molina, 25, of Quincy, was driving the car. The car left the road and crashed into a ditch and a mailbox.

The boys received serious injuries, but not compatible with life. They were both taken to Confluence Health’s central campus in Wenatchee.

Dominquez Molina was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault and two counts of assault. He was booked into the Grant County Jail. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department of Motor Vehicles is investigating the incident.
