A family in Agawam is collecting donations for Hurricane Helen with the help of Sarah Ford

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – An Agawam family is raising funds for Hurricane Helen victims with the help of Sarah Ford.

You can drop off donations at Sarat Ford in Agawam during regular business hours until November 6th.

As Florida’s colder months approach, the community needs headlamps, new blankets, new sleeping bags, double and triple A batteries and generators.

The family organizing the fundraiser will travel to Florida over Veterans Day weekend.

“Even one person destroying things will make a difference, so if we can all do our part, it will help them rebuild and get their lives back,” shared Cristina Sanchez.
