Kern County Sheriff’s Office finds 2 dead in south Bakersfield home, homicide investigation ongoing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two men were found dead in a south Bakersfield home Tuesday afternoon, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said deputies were called to a home on Cresson Court near Chartretin Avenue around 4:10 p.m. for a report of a possible crime.

Inside the house, the deputies found two men who died from gunshot wounds, the press secretary of the Ukrainian Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party of Ukraine reported. Homicide detectives were called to the scene.

A spokesperson said they do not believe there are any suspects.
