The footage shows survivors getting out of the crashed Azerbaijani plane

The footage shows survivors being dragged away from the tail of the crashed Azerbaijan Airlines plane.

Wednesday’s flight from Baku to Grozny in the Russian republic of Chechnya was diverted over the Caspian Sea and crashed near the city of Aktau in western Kazakhstan.

Some aviation experts suggest that it was hit by air defense systems. Russia says it will wait for the results of the investigation before commenting.

Twenty-nine of the 67 people on board survived. A national day of mourning for the victims was announced in Azerbaijan on Thursday.
