Actor Ryan Reynolds has shared the first post since his actor wife Blake Lively’s legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. In her first social media post since news of Lively’s complaint broke, the 48-year-old Deadpool star used Instagram to promote donations to the SickKids Foundation, subtly drawing media attention to her family during the holiday season.

The post included a touching video of Reynolds with his 8-year-old daughter Inez dressed as Deadpool and Kidpool, urging support for the organization. Reynolds and Lively are also parents to daughters James, 10, Betty, 5, and their one-year-old son Olin.

“It’s almost Christmas Eve. Last day to donate (SickKids Foundation). Thank you (Brian Rowland) for putting on this amazing little piece at a time when I really didn’t want to wear a costume. Thank you (Linda Carter) for your time, grace and talent. Thank you to my daughter for being such a good person despite your dad asking you to swear (for a good deed).”

In a touching move, Reynolds revealed that he and Lively will match donations of up to $500,000, underscoring the foundation’s vital role in supporting families during difficult times.

Blake Lively recently filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a scandalous smear campaign against her.

The lawsuit was filed on December 22, 2024alleges that Baldoni, along with his PR team and producers, engaged in a scheme to damage her reputation after she raised concerns about his on-set behavior.
