Woman claims she was ‘lured’ to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ party through radio contest – NBC New York

In the new lawsuit, the woman accused the battle rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2006 at a party in New York, where she says she was “lured” through a radio station contest.

Latroya Grayson said in the lawsuit that she and her half-brother were flown to New York from Oklahoma on Oct. 16, 2006, after her relative won a trip for two to attend one of Combs’ parties.

According to the complaint filed Dec. 20 in the Southern District of New York, at the party, the woman, then 23, said she felt sick and passed out after waitresses served her two ready-made drinks.

She said she woke up in the hospital with her shirt torn, no underwear or shoes and no memory of how she got there, the complaint states.

She said her vagina had been sore for about a week, which she believed was from rough sex, which she did not remember, the lawsuit said. She said she did not seek medical attention or report the incident to law enforcement out of fear, according to the complaint.

In the lawsuit, Grayson said she later received a call from an unknown woman with a New York number who allegedly threatened her to keep quiet. The caller allegedly said any attempts to explain any information about the alleged assault “would be futile” because Combs “was a celebrity,” the complaint said.

Grayson sued Combs, as well as others she believed were involved in the incident.

Other defendants include Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, which Combs founded; Atlantic Records, which she said facilitated the event; Mike Savas, Atlantic’s promoter at the time; Delta Airlines, which flew her to New York; KKJamz 105.3, the radio station she said ran the contest; and the Roger Smith Hotel, where she stayed.

Ten “John and Jane Dozes” are also named as defendants, but the lawsuit says Grayson doesn’t yet know who they are.

The lawsuit, which includes photos of Grayson with other guests at the party, does not mention any interaction with Combs.

In a statement, Combs’ attorneys said “Grayson’s allegations against him are pure fiction.”

“RS. Grayson admits that she has no recollection of the events alleged in her complaint, does not know who was allegedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs,” the statement reads.

Combs is currently behind bars at the Brooklyn Detention Center in New York, facing federal criminal charges of racketeering, human trafficking and other crimes. He pleaded not guilty the trial is scheduled for May 5.

His attorneys added in a statement that Combs “has never been sexually assaulted or engaged in sex trafficking.”

“As we have said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every frivolous lawsuit and solicitor’s demand for money,” they said. “He believes in a judicial process in which the facts will be separated from the opportunistic fictions like these.”

A Delta spokesperson said the airline was “not aware of, and did not participate in, the illegal activities alleged in this lawsuit.”

Atlantic Records, KKJAMZ 105.3 and Savas did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday. There was the Roger Smith Hotel. reported acquired by a timeshare company in 2022.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial is set to begin on May 5, a New York judge announced Thursday.

In her lawsuit, Grayson said she “felt betrayed” by Atlantic and the station because they allegedly “failed to protect her despite creating, promoting and funding a contest that resulted in (SIC) her injuries and lured her into a dangerous place without warning . .”

The lawsuit accuses all the defendants of allegedly using deception, coercion, force and threats of violence for the purpose of “enrichment.”

“Although all Defendants could not directly threaten, coerce, coerce or threaten Plaintiff, they did benefit financially (SIC) from this scheme,” the complaint states.

The lawsuit was filed under the Gender-Based Violence Protection Act. Under the law, victims have a two-year window ending in March 2025 to file old claims.

Diddy is facing numerous civil lawsuits of a similar nature. Combs’ attorneys deny the allegations and wrongdoing.
