Motorcycle crash causes traffic delays near Eastland Mall

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A crash between a motorcycle and a truck is causing significant delays for drivers on Green River Road near Eastland Mall.

According to dispatch, they received a call shortly before 7 p.m. about an accident with injuries at the intersection of N. Green River Road and Virginia.

It’s near Jared’s Jewelry Factory near Eastland Mall.

A bystander says traffic was backed up on the Lloyd Expressway.

Officials say the motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The scene has since been cleared and the road reopened.
