Man stabbed in north Alabama steakhouse parking lot, suspect in custody

A man was found stabbed to death Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a north Alabama steakhouse, authorities said.

Boaz Police responded to the Western Sizzlin parking lot around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a stabbing.

Police found the victim dead at the scene and arrested the suspect after a brief chase.

The agency said it could not name the suspect or victim or release additional details of the ongoing case.

The Marshall County Coroner’s Office said it arrived at the scene of the homicide Tuesday afternoon, but deferred further comment to Boaz police.
