22-year-old man dies 6 days after shooting in Montgomery that injured 4 others

A Montgomery man has died nearly a week after being wounded in a shooting that also injured four others.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim as Eldren Wright. He was 22.

Montgomery police were called at about 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23. that five victims appeared at the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive. No additional details are reported.

Three men and two minors were injured. Wright and one of the teenagers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Three more victims received non-life-threatening injuries.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman said Wright died Tuesday.

There was no arrest.
