The suspect accused of fatally stabbing a Taylor Swifta themed event in Great Britain was accused of producing poison.

During a briefing on Tuesday 29 October, Merseyside Police announced that a suspect had been charged Axel Rudakubana18, with the production of the deadly poison ricin, trans CBS News. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ricin is a poison commonly found in castor oil.

Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy added that no ricin was found at the scene of the fatal wound.

Rudakubana will also face terrorism charges for allegedly possessing a training manual for al-Qaeda. The authorities specified that the attack, which took place in July, was not qualified as a “terrorist incident”.

“I realize the new allegations could lead to speculation,” Kennedy said Tuesday, according to the newspaper. “The case in which Axel Rudakubana was charged under the Terrorism Act does not require the establishment of motives. In order for the case to be declared a terrorist incident, it is necessary to establish the motivation.”

Rudakubana bldg previously accrued with the murders of three children: Baby King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancomb, 7, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, 9. He is also charged with 10 counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.

Rudakubana’s identity had not been revealed before, as he was 17 years old at the time of the attack. He will appear in court virtually on Wednesday, October 30, and his trial is scheduled for January 2025.

In July, there was a stabbing at a dance and yoga class dedicated to Swift in Southport, England. At first, the authorities confirmed the death of two people, injured nine children, six of whom are in serious condition. Two adults were also seriously injured. The number of dead after the attack increased to three.

“The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport keeps coming back to me and I’m just in complete shock. The loss of life and innocence, as well as the terrible trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and the first responders,” the 34-year-old singer wrote in her Instagram Story at the time. “They were just little kids in dance class. I absolutely do not know how to express my condolences to these families.”

The following month, Swift met two little girls were injured by a knife during one of her performances at Wembley Stadium.
