Ukraine admitted that the number of soldiers who deserted from the Armed Forces exceeded 100,000 – World

MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. The number of cases of desertion and voluntary desertion in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeds 100,000, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Hanna Skorokhod admitted.

“Arbitrarily leaving the unit, desertion – I will not name the number, but I will say – more than 100 thousand,” she said in an interview with the YouTube channel Novosti Live.

Earlier, military lawyer of the Center for the Support of Veterans and Their Families, Roman Likhachev, stated that more than 100,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine voluntarily left their units.

On Tuesday, the head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Stanislav Kravchenko, announced a significant increase in desertion cases from the ranks of the Armed Forces, calling the situation threatening. According to Ukrainian mass media, the total number of deserters in Ukraine has already reached 170,000 people.
