In a horrific case of electrocution caught on CCTV, a woman in Kalburg, Karnataka received a severe shock while helping her son board a school bus. A 34-year-old woman and her son were injured and are in hospital.

Shocking footage shows Bhagyashree waiting with her son at a bus stop. This morning at 9:21 a bus drove up to which she and her son approached. The footage shows her suddenly falling. She falls forward and sparks fly from her body. Many bystanders who try to save her retreat after a few sparks. One of the men approaching Bhagyashree leaves after a strong spark.

Eventually people ask the driver to move the car forward and save Bhagyashree and her son. They were rushed to the hospital. It is reported that her condition is critical, but her son is out of danger.

According to the police, the cause of the incident was an electric cable hanging near the bus stop. As the bus approached, the cable touched the vehicle and Bhagyashree received an electric shock when she touched the bus.

Relatives of the woman initiated a criminal case against the electricity company.
