The wife of a man accused of sexual violence was arrested for witness intimidation News, Sports, Work

LOCK HAVEN. A Lock Haven woman has been charged with witness intimidation after she allegedly threatened the life of a sexual assault victim her husband claimed was sexually assaulting her, according to the Woodward Police Department.

Faye Ann Willits, 40, of East Hillside Drive, Lock Haven, was issued an arrest warrant for felony victim or witness intimidation on Dec. 10, 2024, at her East Hillside Drive residence after she allegedly said she was going to kill the victim and another witness involved in a criminal case involving her husband William A. Willits III, according to court documents.

According to his affidavit, William Willits allegedly sexually assaulted Faye’s 18-year-old relative, who has severe intellectual disabilities.

Following an investigation that began in September, Woodward Township Police Officer Gregory Drollinger arrested William on Nov. 19 at approximately 6:39 p.m. at the home he shares with Fay, according to the filing.

An hour later, Drollinger spoke briefly with Fay, who was “very loudly” cursing and threatening, according to the affidavit. The documents state that she allegedly said, “If she (exp.) gets his career going, she’ll be (exp.) dead.” When asked who she meant, she said she meant both the victim and the witness, according to the affidavit.

According to the police, the collision was recorded on a body camera.

An officer later contacted the victim, who expressed concern that due to her proximity to Lock Haven and her acquaintance with the Willits, she could potentially be in danger.

On Dec. 10, Drollinger returned to Willits’ home to serve her with a warrant on charges of witness intimidation and terroristic threats against her husband’s victim, according to the affidavit.

Willits allegedly resisted arrest by locking herself in her car and refusing to get out when police approached her with an arrest warrant.

According to the affidavit, Willits said she resisted arrest and expressed a desire to speak with her husband and move her vehicle, which officers refused, fearing she was going to flee.

After exiting the vehicle, she allegedly refused to comply with the officer’s commands, lunging at Officer Drollinger and kicking him before being taken into custody.
