World War III has already begun, says JP Morgan Boss

The top manager of JP Morgan sounded the alarm about the beginning The third world warbut one expert told Newsweek it’s not time to panic.

The bank’s CEO, Jamie Dimon, said in a recent speech at the Institute of International Finance that the current conflict in Ukraine and Middle East the third world war has already begun.

Dimon previously called Russia, North Korea and Iran an “axis of evil” that, along with China, would harm institutions such as NATO.

“And they’re talking about doing it now,” Dimon said at the event. “They are not talking about waiting 20 years. So the risk of that is extremely high if you read history.”

Because of this, a larger world conflict may not be a matter of “if,” but a matter of “when.”

“The Third World War has already begun. You already have battles on the ground that are being coordinated across multiple countries,” Dimon said.

Dimon went on to say that the United States needs to avoid being naive and allow larger global events to unfold without any intervention.

“What we have to think about is that we can’t take the risk that this will resolve itself. We have to make sure that we are involved in doing the right things to address this properly,” he added.

Still, the banking leader said there was a possibility that the threat of a second world war might diminish over time, but the consequences could be dire if things continued as they are.

“I’m talking about the risk to us if these things go south,” Dimon said. “We run scenarios that will shock you. I don’t even want to mention them.”

The threat of Russia as a nuclear power was one of Dimon’s main concerns.

“We have never had a situation where a person threatens nuclear blackmail. Like, “If your military starts winning, we’re going to deploy nuclear weapons,” Dimon said. “If that doesn’t scare you, it should.”

Dimon said nuclear proliferation is “the greatest risk humanity faces.”

“It’s not climate change, it’s nuclear proliferation,” he said. “We have to be very careful about what we try to achieve in the next couple of years.”

Once more countries go nuclear, entire cities could be destroyed, the billionaire said.

“It’s only a matter of time before these things start working in major cities around the world,” Dimon said. “I think we just have to have clarity and put a lot of things under control to make sure it ends up right.”

Paul Beck, a professor of political science at Ohio State University, said Dimon’s claim has some merit, although he does not accept that World War II is inevitable.

Since the end of the Cold War in 1991, there has been relative peace between the United States and Russia, but that could change, the professor said.

“Now it seems things have escalated again with Russia over Ukraine and Russia’s attempts to influence the American election,” Beck said. Newsweek.

And, of course, there is the ongoing Cold War with Iran, which is being fueled by Israel, and China’s threats to Taiwan. Perhaps this is the beginning of the Second World War, although I am not yet ready to accept that milestone.”

About a month ago, the former president and top republican applicant Donald Trump said the United States was “very close to global catastrophe” after Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles at Israel.

“I’ve been talking about World War III for a long time, and I don’t want to make predictions because predictions always come true,” Trump said at a rally in Waunakee, Wisconsin. “But they are very close to global catastrophe.”

Earlier, the Trump administration imposed sanctions on Iran and also terminated the nuclear deal, which was originally signed by the Obama administration.

“When I was president, Iran was under complete control,” Trump said. “Iranians felt the need for cash. Nobody bought their oil. But since then, Iran has been exporting terror around the world, and it’s just collapsing. The entire Middle East is collapsing.”
