Chase in Harris County: 2 people in custody after chase ends in Clear Lake

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office 2 and other law enforcement agencies are working to end the pursuit in the Clear Lake area.

Details are limited, but Capt. Anderson of the 2nd Precinct says the pursuit began at Fairmont Parkway and Preston Avenue and ended in Clear Lake City at Eldorado Boulevard and the Rimini Estate.

According to officials, two people are currently in custody.

It is likely that one of the cars involved in the chase crashed during the pursuit.

The Department of Public Safety is reportedly assisting with the incident along with the South Houston Police Department, Pasadena Police and the Harris County 8th Constable’s Office.
