IMPD investigates incident on east side near Post Road, 38th Street – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police say officers were on the scene of an incident on the city’s far east side Tuesday afternoon.

AND publish on X from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says officers were in the 3600 block of North Post Road after an unspecified incident. It is in a residential and business area south of the intersection of East 38th Street and Post Road.

Online police reports show officers were called to a shooting in the same block of Post Road at about 2:40 p.m. It is unclear whether the two incidents are related.
