An amazing campground in Michigan that we want to visit year-round

One of the most vivid childhood memories was a trip on the “Duck” during a family vacation. What is “Duck”? Well, it’s a vehicle that goes from land to sea for a truly unique journey. While there aren’t any “ducks” at this Michigan water park campground, there is plenty of fun to be had.

Duck Creek RV Park and Campground aims to turn camping from just an overnight stay into an experience! This waterfront RV park is located in Muskegon, right across the street Michigan Adventuresone of the best amusement parks in Michigan.

This Muskegon campground is an idyllic spot for family adventure. There are a variety of RV rental options, including front and rear, with waterfront options for both.

Duck Creek RV Resort is also a great choice for groups. There are several RV sites that can accommodate up to four RVs at once!

There are also cabins available for rent if you don’t have your own RV. Each cabin sleeps up to six people in two bedrooms.

However, these cabins are not like staying in a hotel or AirBnb. You will need your own bed linen, pillows and, of course, towels.

You’ll want to bring plenty of towels because the water park is the real star of this Michigan campground. It is well maintained, clean and ready to entertain.

Included in your rent is access to an abundance of recreational facilities, including waterslides and a variety of swimming spots. There is also a private lake with a beach and swimming area that looks like a dream.

Having multiple bathing options helps keep the crowd down compared to a typical resort, which is appreciated. However, whenever I’m at their place, I won’t be going to one of the pools. Instead, my first stop will be…

Lazy river! In my opinion, being on a floating tube, lying carefree in a man-made river is one of my top 10 activities.

This water park campground in Michigan really looks like the perfect getaway and family adventure. You are on your own and have a lot of things to do if you want to. Or you can just sit back and watch the world go by.

This Michigan waterpark campground has several amenities that aren’t included in your rental rate, including gem mining, miniature golf, bike rentals, and more. There is water here, so we recommend renting a boat at least once during your stay.
