One dead, one injured in a road accident in Wisconsin

DALL PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say one person is dead and another is injured in a two-car crash Friday morning involving a car and a semi-truck.

According to the message in Adams County Sheriff’s Officedeputies responded at 6:13 a.m. Oct. 25 to State Highway 23 and County Highway B in Dell Prairie Township for a report of an accident.

Officials say they were called to a crash involving a semi truck and a car, and it was determined that the vehicle was traveling south on County Highway B when it ran a stop sign and was hit by a semi truck heading east on State Hwy 23.

Emergency services arrived on the scene and immediately began lifesaving efforts on the driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Glenn Tosh of Grand Marsh.

Lifesaving efforts were reportedly unsuccessful as Tosh died at the scene from his injuries and the driver of the semi truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

There is currently no other information, the investigation of the accident is ongoing.
