Walz touts Minnesota as the 5 best states for retirement

St. PAUL (WJON News) — Governor Tim Waltz is happy with the news that Minnesota has been named one of the top five states for retirees.

The Motley Fool study ranked states on factors such as quality of life, affordable housing, safety, health care and cost of living.

Governor Waltz said, “Americans deserve to retire with support and security, and that’s what we’re doing here in Minnesota.”

Last month, the governor announced more than six million dollars in new state grants to help Minnesotans stay in their homes as they age.
