Former Louisville high school teacher pleads guilty to child pornography charges

LOUISVILLE, KY. A former high school teacher in Louisville has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of child pornography.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky said Jordan Fautz, 40, pleaded guilty to three counts of distributing child pornography, two counts of distributing indecent visual images of child sexual abuse, one count of manufacturing and one count of point possession of child pornography.

Fautz used an online chat app to distribute child sexual abuse material to an undercover law enforcement officer, according to court records.

Fautz also created and distributed photoshopped images depicting the faces of minors on the bodies of people involved in sexual acts.

Agents also found material depicting child sexual abuse on Fautz’s computer and cell phone.

The verdict is scheduled for March 19, 2025.
