In the house of N. WITH. drugs and firearms were seized, four were charged

RCMP have charged four people after seizing drugs and firearms at a home in South Berwick, New Zealand.

Police searched the house on Buchanan Road as part of a drug trafficking investigation on Dec. 6.

During the search, the law enforcement officers note that they seized:

• cocaine
• methamphetamine
• balance
• mobile phones
• firearm
• in cash
• stolen property

Four people were detained and charged with:

• Scott Graham, 51, from Berwick
• Jessie Jones, 35, of Waterville
• Theresa Atwell, 59, from Cambridge
• Josh Jackson, 33, from Cambridge

All four were charged with:

• two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
• two counts of possession of a firearm while knowing that possession is illegal
• two counts of reckless handling of a weapon
• possession of property obtained by crime worth more than $5,000
• three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking

Atwell also faces a charge of possession contrary to an order, while Jackson faces an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order.

Police say all four people have been released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on February 11.
