Did Chargers’ Joey Bosa suffer another injury in win over Saints?

Los Angeles Chargers star defensive end Joey Bosa returned to the field after a long injury layoff and played his part in a win over the New Orleans Saints.

Questions remain as to whether Bosa re-aggravated the injury or suffered a new one.

Speaking to reporters on MondayChargers head coach Jim Garbaugh said he hasn’t heard anything about Bosa’s new injury. But as Daniel Popper of The Athletic noted in the video below, Bosa appeared to limp off the field and did not return on Sunday.

The boss played 20 pictures a day before its release, and there isn’t enough footage to continue at this point. But in the broadcast, he was seen on his knee, talking to the trainers after the exit. It’s a possibility, not an injury, that the Chargers wanted to play it safe with Bosa, especially in a game that was largely under their control.

Given his very honest talk about the “low point” coming back from an injury that was worse than reported, fans have to hope that Bosa really feels good after this win.
