Timothee Chalamet Sings “Subterranean Homesick Blues” In Full Unknown Teaser

Real life Timothee Chalamet — not to be confused with the countless doppelgängers who filled Washington Square Park last weekend to compete in a lookalike contest — set to depict Bob Dylan in the future biopic Complete obscurity. We have already seen trailer for the film, which chronicles Dylan’s early years in New York City in the 1960s, but today Searchlight Pictures dropped a new teaser that plays an extended preview of Chalamet singing “Subterranean Homesick Blues.”

In the clip, which can be seen below, Chalamet also recreates the cue card scene from the original “Subterranean Homesick Blues” video, as well as showing behind-the-scenes footage from the film.

Director James Mangold (Logan, Ford vs. Ferrari), Complete obscurity will be released in theaters on December 25, 2024. In addition to Chalamet as Dylan, the film stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo and Nick Offerman as Alan Lomax. .
