A second person has been arrested in connection with the stabbing that left a man dead at a Syracuse home

Syracuse, New York. A 25-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder the man was found dead at Syracuse House on the North Side.

Isaiah D. Wright was charged with murdering a man who was found at 306 Basin St. March 20, according to a felony complaint filed in Syracuse Municipal Court.

Wright is the second person to be charged in the case.

On April 3, the police Destani Widger was arrested22, who was charged with second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to a felony complaint filed in Syracuse Municipal Court.

According to the complaint, the slain man, 32-year-old Jamar Martin, had a stab wound to his neck and multiple stab wounds and lacerations to various parts of his body. According to the complaint, Wright stabbed Martin multiple times with a folding knife and Widger stabbed Martin once in the neck with the same knife.

Martin was found five days later at a home on Basin Street, police said. He was wrapped in a blanket and had blood everywhere, according to a report from Onondaga County EMS.

Police said Wright was seen on multiple body cameras in Syracuse at the time of the incident.

Wright was charged with second-degree murder and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
