JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has uploaded the information bulletin for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 on its website. According to the newsletter, the NTA has revised the rules for drawing the results and removed certain age criteria. As per the amended rules, the age of candidates and their application numbers will no longer be taken into account while resolving disputes. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their current ranks. If the tie still holds, the candidates will be assigned the same ranks.

The testing agency has revised the rules for deciding the results for candidates who get equal marks before JEE Main 2025. Here are the revised tie-breaking rules.

JEE Main 2025: No more supplementary questions in Section B

The testing agency also abolished the optional part of questions from section B. Now candidates will have to answer all questions. Section B will contain only five questions per subject and candidates will have to answer all the five questions without any multiple choice in JEE Main 2025 in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2 A (BArch) and Paper 2 B (B). JEE Main 2025: Official Time Table

On October 28, NTA has started the online application process for JEE Main 2025 exam for the January session. The last day for submitting applications is November 22, documents will be accepted until 11:50 p.m. that day.

The January 2025 JEE Main exam will be held from January 22 to 31. Admit cards for the exam will be issued three days before the start date. Candidates will have to use their credentials like registration number and date of birth to download the admit cards. JEE Main 2025: Important Instructions

  • Candidates applying for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 should note that application forms can be filled online only. Application forms in any other mode are not accepted.
  • Applicants may submit only one application at a time. Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed to fill more than one application form. Strict action will be taken against such candidates who have filled more than one application form, even at a later stage.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the newsletter and on the NTA website. Candidates who do not follow the instructions will be disqualified in a summary manner.
  • Candidates must ensure that the email ID and mobile number provided in the online application form belong to them or their parents/guardians only as all information/communication will be sent to NTA by email to the registered email address or SMS to the registered mobile phone. number only.
