Delhi: Car driven by 17-year-old boy runs over man and his grandson in Adarsh ​​Nagar – Delhi News

A 55-year-old man and his seven-year-old grandson were injured after a car driven by a 17-year-old rammed them in north Delhi’s Adarsh ​​Nagar on Monday. The incident was caught on a video surveillance camera.

The footage shows husband Rajesh Kumar Kamra carrying his grandson Mannath in his arms and walking down the road. A few minutes later, the Hyundai Santro suddenly turns right and rams into the banners and a man riding a scooter, before ramming the Camra and dragging the minor with it.

The car also hit four men who were standing and chatting on the side of the road, CCTV shows.

Kamra, who had fallen to the ground, turned to see his grandson trapped under the rear wheels of the car. After that, a group of people arrived at the scene, stopped the car from reversing and managed to pull out the boy, who was seriously injured, under the car.

The injured family members were taken to the nearest hospital, and a police team arrived to analyze the events that led to the incident.

The police detained the teenager and confiscated his car. A criminal case was initiated against the owner of the vehicle.
