Greensburg man pleads guilty to trying to kill sister in hit-and-run case

GREENSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) – A Westmoreland County man has pleaded guilty to charges related to a murder-for-hire conspiracy in which he tried to arrange the killing of his sister.

The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office says Peter Cute, 63, was arrested in April after a witness told police he was trying to hire a hit man.

The prosecutor’s office says investigators determined that Kuet was looking for someone who wanted to kill one of his relatives who allegedly tried to deprive him of property and money related to their estates.

According to prosecutors, Kuet met with an undercover detective and told them he wanted to kill his sister for pay.

Kita is expected to be sentenced within the next three months on the attempted murder charge he pleaded guilty to.
