St. PAUL, Minnesota (FOX 9) – The man was taken to hospital after being injured St. Paul Police in the Hamline-Midway area on Monday night.
What we know
Police say the shooting happened around 8:00 p.m. in the area of Snelling Avenue and University Avenue.
The police say that the injured man was taken to the regional hospital. As a result of the incident, none of the officers were injured.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is now investigating the use of force.
The shooting and subsequent investigation disrupted bus and streetcar traffic along University Avenue.
What we don’t know
Police have not yet released the circumstances that led to the shooting. It is also unknown how badly the man was injured.
