Repeat offender lashed out with knife after chase in North Seattle

Seattle police say they have arrested a man who was recently released from prison bullying teenage girls last week for threatening employees at an auto dealership in North Seattle with a knife.

Around 4:12 p.m. on Oct. 23, Seattle police officers responded to a call about a man threatening another with a knife in the 10500 block of Aurora Avenue North in Seattle.

According to the police, the man tried to break into the closed car shop, forcing the employee to retreat, and then fell to the ground. The 59-year-old man was not injured.

When law enforcement found the suspect, he ignored the law enforcement officers’ instructions and began to run.

Running through heavy traffic and bypassing various objects, the man was finally surrounded between two cars in the parking lot of the enterprise.

As police surrounded the man, he reached for a knife lying next to him before being shot with a taser.

The police detained a 28-year-old man and found additional knives in the suspect’s possession.

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of felonious assault and burglary.

One police officer received a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The investigation is carried out by operatives of the Main Investigation Department.
