Suspect in fatal shooting flees after fight in West Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect in a fatal shooting is on the run after a fight in West Las Vegas, Metro Police say.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened at 4:44 a.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of Brandywine Way. It’s near Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive.

When law enforcement officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds in the driveway.

The arriving medics stated that the man died on the spot.

Metro homicide detectives say the victim and suspect were arguing when the shooting happened.

Police say the suspect fled the area before police arrived.

“This investigation is ongoing,” the police said. “The identity of the victim and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner.”
