The suspect who made threats against a Christian County elementary school has been located and arrested

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office and Clarksville Police Department took a suspect into custody Monday night after making threats at a Kentucky elementary school.

Javis Hall, 38, has been charged with violating an Emergency Protection Order (EPO) and is reported to be a potential threat to South Christian Elementary School in Herndon, Kentucky.

Authorities, including the Hopkinsville Police Department, Hopkinsville Fire Department and Christian County Emergency Management, arrived during the call, around noon, and took students and faculty members into custody.

After a comprehensive examination of the school territory and the surrounding areas, no threat was found, and no suspects were found.

It wasn’t until the search moved off campus that authorities were able to locate Hall and arrest him as a suspect. His charges include allegedly making terroristic threats, violating an EPO/domestic violence order and falsely reporting an incident.
