3 charges after drugs were found during fatal rollover investigation

On Jan. 29 at 3:43 a.m., police responded to a vehicle rollover on the QEW westbound exit at Brant Street in Burlington.

Three men and a woman who were in a Dodge Ram pickup truck were found at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital, where one man died.

Fentanyl, cocaine and a firearm were also found at the scene.

Preet Dhami, 25, of Brampton, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of identification and failure to comply with a probation order.

Mustafa Taamneh, 46, of Mississauga, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm, knowledge of the unauthorized possession of a firearm, reckless handling of a firearm, sale weapons, possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition and failure to comply with a release order.

Nitish Oberoi, 34, of Brampton, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
