A woman died Monday from injuries sustained in an SUV crash Oct. 10 in Kansas City, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Missouri. Police in Kansas City, Missouri, said a woman died Monday from injuries sustained in an SUV crash on Oct. 10.

The crash happened at 7:25 p.m. in the 3900 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Officers found the woman pinned between the door of a black Nissan Murano and a wooden post, according to a press release from the police department.

Her name has not been released.

It was the 80th traffic fatality of the year in Kansas City, Missouri.

At this time last year, there were 82 people killed in road accidents in KCMO.
