Latoya Donaldson, 39, was arrested Monday for her role in the high-profile death of Abdul Wicks, also known as YBC Dul, a rapper and gang leader who was killed in a drive-by shooting in the city. Olney August 23.

Donaldson now joins his son, Aiden Watersand his two friends behind bars.

For investigation into the death of WeeksAccording to a law enforcement source, detectives found Ring camera footage from Waters’ home that shows Donaldson bringing a rifle inside a gun case downstairs and handing it to the teenagers. Investigators believe the teenagers used that rifle to shoot Weeks’ car multiple times as he drove in the 100 block of West Olney Avenue, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation.

Weeks, 25, was shot in the arm and chest. A friend who was also in the car rushed him to Einstein Medical Center, but he died a short time later.

Waters was the first teenager to be charged in Weeks’ deathafter detectives found a burned-out getaway car, as well as forensic and video evidence linking him to the crime. Rashawn Williams18 and Nayer Briscoe19, were also charged in the following months.

All are members of a youth gang from Olney known as “Fastbreak,” prosecutors said. The teenagers are accused of shooting several other people in the area in the weeks before Weeks’ death.

Donaldson, who has previous arrests for drug offenses and retail theft, remains in custody without bail. Her lawyer could not immediately be reached on Tuesday.
