The 2024-25 NBA season officially kicked off last Wednesday as the defending champions Boston Celtics battled Eastern Conference rivals the New York Knicks at TD Garden in the first game of the season.

For those who are an outsider – The defending Western Conference champions Dallas Mavericks are sixth favorites at 10/1.

Dallas’ acquisition of four-time champion Klay Thompson from the Golden State Warriors, who has been plagued by injuries and inconsistency over the past few seasons, has been criticized in NBA circles.

However, he has been fantastic in his first two games with his new franchise.
