In 2026, Tauck will sail two new river vessels in France: Travel Weekly

Tauk said two new river vessels will sail to France in 2026.

A 130-passenger ship will sail by Rona. Its 68 cabins will consist of 22 300-square-foot cabins, 34 225-square-foot cabins, and 12 180-square-foot cabins.

The slightly smaller ship will accommodate up to 124 guests on Seine cruises. It will have 20 suites of 300 square feet, 30 cabins of 225 square feet and 12 cabins of 180 square feet.

The 180-square-foot Category 1 staterooms on the new ships will be 20% larger than Category 1 staterooms on Tauck’s other river vessels. Tauck will waive a single per-sailing surcharge for all Category 1 staterooms on new vessels.

Tauck CEO Dan Mahar said some “fresh and exciting innovations” will appear on the ships’ sundecks, restaurants, lounges, spas and other common areas. “We have some great improvements in the pipeline and we look forward to unveiling our new plans in the coming months,” he said.

Mahar said Tauck is capping off a record year for European river cruises with double-digit percentage growth over last year’s passenger numbers.
