The TikTok video begins with the woman explaining that she received an email from Paula in HR complaining that she was “not happy” with the clothes the woman was wearing at work.

She explained to the camera: “So I got an email from a lady in HR about my stylish work clothes. Apparently, this is “inappropriate”. I don’t think it’s too bad.”

She then tells her colleague Matt about the email she received, saying, “I got an email from Paula this morning saying she’s not happy with the way I’m dressed for work.”

She asked him what he thought of her outfit, and he replied, “I think it’s appropriate work attire.”

She then secretly films what HR tells her about her work attire during the meeting, and Paula explains, “I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed to see how you dressed today as you continue the email.”

The woman then replies that she asked one of her male colleagues about her clothes, to which he replied that “no problem”.

However, Paula replied: “I haven’t spoken to Matt. I really don’t think he’s in a position to say what he did. We need to address this issue as we have comments from other employees.”

The woman responded to Paula by asking, “It’s none of my business, Paula. It’s kind of on them.”

At the time, Paula claimed that several of the woman’s colleagues complained that she was “demanding attention” with her choice of work attire. Oh

As for what those in the comments thought, one wrote: “It’s a club dress.” Another added: “I was so ready to be on your side! But then you walked away from the camera.”

However, others defended her and said it was not her “fault” if her clothes were distracting to her colleagues. One of them said: “I think the comments about you begging for attention were completely inappropriate, but at the same time bro it’s appropriate for the office.”
