Panchkula: Six unauthorized shops in Barwala were demolished by the district town planner’s team. The district administration urged citizens not to buy houses or shops in illegal colonies without permission or license from the department. This is to ensure that the hard-earned funds of the population are not wasted and to prevent arbitrary construction. The assistant city planner said notices were issued to defaulters before the demolition, but the shops were not removed, necessitating departmental action.
