REAL: Benefit Hoola matte bronzer£32.50 DUP: Bronzer Natural Collection£3.50, a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer is available in more shades, although it does not come with a mirror in its compact packaging.

REAL: Hydro-Grip Primer make-up milk, 35 pounds sterling DUP: Elf Power Grip Primer£10. The two have a similar shade of green, as well as the same long-wearing, mattifying properties – although Elf is so popular that it’s just as hard to get hold of.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick28 pounds sterling DUP: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu£8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are almost identical on the lips, although while the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is matte, the L’Oreal Paris lipstick has a satin finish which makes it more comfortable to wear all day.

REAL: Foundation Estée Lauder Double Wear40 pounds sterling DUP: Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation Collection£6.99. Although they don’t look alike, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations are quite similar – unfortunately, the collection is only available in 20 shades compared to Estee Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Boy Brow glossy eyebrows20 pounds sterling DUP: Essence Make Me eyebrow gel, £2.50. There’s an entire Reddit thread dedicated to this stupid thing, so you know it’s got to be good. Both have a waxy texture and add fibers to add volume to the brows. I have to say that the Boy Brow shade range is much better, but if you are a brunette, you can try many of the Essence shades.
