Harris hits the streets, crosses Philadelphia to win votes in swing state | N18G

On October 27, Kamala Harris, the US vice president and Democratic presidential candidate, campaigned in Pennsylvania, visiting a black hair salon and a Puerto Rican restaurant in Philadelphia. Speaking at the Church of Christian Compassion, she asked a critical question about the country’s future without mentioning her opponent by name. During a press conference, Harris expressed confidence in her campaign’s progress, saying her “internal polling is my gut” and that “the momentum is with us.” After stops in Philadelphia, Harris plans to visit all the battleground states in the days leading up to Election Day. Her upcoming events include a rally in Madison, Wis., with folk-rock band Mumford & Sons, and an event in Las Vegas with Mexican pop band Mana. With polls showing tight races in key states, more than 38 million votes have already been cast ahead of the election.
