Jamestown man pleads guilty to meth charges | News, Sports, Work

A Jamestown man has pleaded guilty to charges of using methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced Friday that Willie K. Graham, 43, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years prison a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $5,000,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna M. Duncan, who is handling the case, said that on September 6, 2023, Jamestown police officers stopped the vehicle Graham was in. Officers found numerous items containing drugs in the vehicle. , as well as the amount of fentanyl on Graham’s person.

On March 2, Graham was a passenger in a car that was fleeing from law enforcement officers who attempted a traffic stop. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded 11.6 grams of methamphetamine paraphernalia and $1,134.00 in cash.

On April 30, Jamestown police officers located and arrested Graham. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of 10 different bank and benefit cards, some of which were issued to individuals other than Graham, a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and $185.

The plea is the result of an investigation by the Jamestown Police Department, led by Chief Timothy Jackson, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, led by Special Agent Matthew Miralia.

Sentencing is scheduled for February 20 at 11 a.m. in front of Sinatra.
