Police: Stolen car hits police cruiser after teens fail to park

Two Schenectady teenagers were arrested after they stole a car from the Crossgates Mall, police said.
It happened after 4 pm on Saturday.

Guilderland police found the stolen vehicle on Crossgates Mall Road, they said, and attempted to pull it over.

According to the police, the teenagers tried to run away, but did not park the car. The car then rolled down the street and crashed into a police car.

The teenagers were quickly caught and are now facing charges including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of stolen property.

They were released to their guardians and later arraigned in Albany District Court.
