Cold temperatures on Saturday for small businesses

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – You’ll need to bundle up if you’re shopping at a small business today, with the chilly wind only reaching teenagers.

Cold for holiday shopping

It’s a frosty morning in eastern Iowa with temperatures in the mid-teens and single digits. Temperatures will warm up a bit this afternoon with highs reaching the mid 20s, but it will only feel like the teenage years. In addition, we will have partly cloudy skies today. Overnight lows will drop sharply again, with lows and lows expected tonight along with partly cloudy skies. Sunday looks very similar to Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 20s.

Dry and cold next week

The coming work week looks dry and cool. With that said, highs in at least the 30s will return to the area starting Tuesday.
