EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A man has been charged with intimidation and theft after being kicked out of a bar.

Police say 39-year-old Samuel Kinyanjui was kicked out of the Corner Pocket on Fulton Avenue early Friday morning for threatening another customer but tried to return.

After being kicked out, Kinyanjui went to his car and returned with what security believed to be a gun in his pocket. He pretended to be a federal agent, but refused to show any identification, and even told security that it was a “federal crime” to touch him.

When asked to pay for his bar, Kinyanjui refused to pay, drove off and parked in a nearby warehouse with the lights off. Police later found him and a large kitchen knife in his car.

Kinyanjui was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail and refused to talk to police.
