Good Samaritans are helping law enforcement agencies near Denver catch street bullies

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A group of brave Good Samaritans helped law enforcement arrest two men accused of shooting a driver on I-25 Saturday morning.

According to CBS Denver affiliate 11 News, all involved were traveling in the area of ​​I-25 and Highway 36 in Adams County. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office told CBS Denver that there was some sort of road rage incident between the suspects and the victim that led to the shooting. Witnesses saw the shooting and called 911, then followed the suspects from a distance, holding them at gunpoint until deputies arrived.

Both suspects were promptly taken into custody. The victim is expected to survive.

A spokesman for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office called the actions of the Samaritans “pretty cool.”
