Two dead as a result of shooting at the exit of the highway in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people.

TPD says officers responded to a report of a shooting Saturday morning, Oct. 26, at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of West 36th Street near the trailhead.

Police initially say they found 20-year-old Freddie Hudson with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Banner University Medical Center in critical condition, but died a short time later from his injuries.

While examining the scene, TPD says officers found a second victim, 20-year-old Jesus Fierro, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Operatives interviewed several people on the territory.

Investigators found out that several people were at the beginning of the trail during the shootout.

Detectives are still investigating what happened before the shooting.

The suspects are currently not in custody. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this homicide to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
