Donald Trump promises to start a fight with the Labor Party of Great Britain

Starmer sought to play down concerns about the situation, which is causing serious damage to Britain’s relationship with America.

Speaking at Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Samoathe British prime minister said: “I met with President Trump just a few weeks ago in New York. We had dinner together for two hours. We wanted to make sure we got to know each other.

“The fact that a number of Labor volunteers took part in this election, as they have done in all previous elections, in previous elections, as political activists from all political parties in almost every election year after year, needs to be put into perspective.”

He claimed he had a “good relationship” with former President Trump and vowed to work with whoever is elected.
