However, on October 2 the verdict was handed down, convicting Magalli, who he commented to Corriere della Sera: “The other day in court, after another exhausting hearing, we couldn’t take it anymore. Yesterday’s conviction is not the only one. In 2021, the Milan court ordered a preliminary payment of 25,000 euros – in addition to a fine of 14,000 and the payment of Magalli’s legal costs. In 2017, in an interview with the weekly “Chi?” the host allegedly made allusions to the showgirl and her television career while talking about the Weinstein and Brizzi affairs (and alleged career-advancing sexual favors). After the verdict, Magalli wrote a post on Facebook to explain that his statements had been misunderstood.
