Verydarkman fires back when police target him for unauthorized use of uniform

Controversial blogger and intrepid activist Martins Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has responded with fiery defiance after he was condemned by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for daring to wear their uniform in a viral video.

In this controversial footage, Otse appears in full police uniform, boldly declaring that he is an “online cop”, free from the shackles and bureaucracy that he claims burdens traditional police.

The NPF quickly responded, expressing outrage and launching a full-scale investigation to discover how Otse obtained the police uniform and accessories.

They issued a statement dissociating themselves from his imagedeclaring his act an insult to the institution. As reported IN NIGERIAthe police are determined to establish the source of the gear he was wearing, going to great lengths to get his attention.

But VDM, true to its defiant spirit, was undaunted. Taking to his official Facebook page, he dismissed their reaction with unflinching sarcasm, calling the police focus on his clothing a clear mistake in a country grappling with far more serious problems.

Verydarkman questioned the priorities of the institution that so quickly targeted him simply for wearing their uniform, while countless unresolved crises threaten the nation’s core.

His response is laced with disdain as he sarcastically speculated on whether simple attire could really be a pressing issue undermining Nigeria’s progress.

VDM, via Facebook, wrote;

“I don’t know say the uniform when I wear to make a video… He will be in a lot of trouble when Nigerians uDey Face, Make Una Jus Dey Play”
