Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of violating prison rules and using his children to ‘influence’ potential jurors

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: Sean “Diddy” Combs he was reportedly accused of recruiting family members to mount a social media campaign to sway jurors.

According to reports, not only did Combs try to influence jurors near his 55th birthday, but he is also accused of contacting outsiders from prison.

Notably, on what would have been Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 55th birthday, his children posted a touching tribute to their father on Instagram while he was on call from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

TMZ Federal authorities reportedly say the attempt was aimed at influencing jurors and was orchestrated under the “careful direction” of Combs.

They also said his children featured in the social media post were “recruited”.

The latest charges come in response to prosecutors challenging Combs’ latest bail request, filed Nov. 8.

In court documents filed Friday, Nov. 15, the 55-year-old music mogul is accused of using the phone access of other inmates.

He is also accused of repeatedly using an “unauthorized third-party messaging service” called ContactMeASAP, which makes a three-way call to communicate with multiple people.

According to a detailed report obtained from court documents, it is “designed to circumvent” the law because it is not authorized by the BOP (Bureau of Corrections) because it helps hide the identities of those contacted. People.

Combs is also accused of using two accounts on the same messaging service, one apparently registered to his son and another to a fellow inmate, to send messages to “dozens of people,” including attorneys and people not named on the list contacts of the defendant.

He also ordered others to “pay inmates, including through payment processing applications and deposits into BOP escrow accounts” after using other inmates’ PAC numbers, the report said.

According to the court filing, Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly attempted to “continue his efforts to obstruct and undermine this criminal proceeding.”

The report said he made “several calls, often using the PAC numbers of other inmates” and “clearly stated his intention to use public statements to change public perception.”

“… The defendant enlisted family members to plan and conduct a social media campaign on the defendant’s birthday with the intent to influence potential jurors in this criminal proceeding,” the document alleged.

“At the defendant’s direction, the defendant’s children posted a video on their social media accounts showing the defendant’s children gathering to celebrate the defendant’s birthday,” the report continued.

Combs then “monitored the analytics” of the footage on social media and “clearly discussed with his family how to ensure that the video had the desired effect on potential jurors in this case,” the prosecution alleged.

He is also accused of trying to “anonymously distribute the video in his own defense,” according to People.
